Looking around fabulous multi-million dollar houses in Los Angeles from the comfort of your sofa might be the reason why you start watching Selling Sunset but fans definitely stay for the drama. When the cast isn’t selling extraordinary homes to the rich and famous, they are having blazing rows back at the office. But one member of the cast will not be part of the Netflix show’s future.
WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Selling Sunset.
In season two of Selling Sunset, there was plenty of drama to keep fans entertained.
Whether it was the rows over Heather Rae Young’s relationship with Flip or Flop star Tarek El Moussa, or Mary Fitzgerald’s moissanite engagement ring, the arguments didn’t stop.
So while the potential income from sales is fantastic, it is understandable how the office environment could get too much for some.
There were concerns about one agent in particular in the previous season.
- Selling Sunset: Christine Quinn reveals ‘frustrating’ part of the job
Agent Maya Vander was seen asking her colleagues if they would ever think about resigning from The Oppenheim Group which Selling Sunset is about.
While none of them seemed as if they would be keen to leave, the fact Maya even asked the question did raise a few eyebrows with viewers at home.
Could this mean she is considering leaving her Selling Sunset days behind?
For now, at least, Maya is still very much working at The Oppenheim Group but someone else who is a major part of the company has departed.
Who has quit Selling Sunset?
The Vice President and Jason’s twin brother Brett Oppenheim has left The Oppenheim Group.
The 43-year-old has decided to go it alone and has instead set up his own firm called Oppenheim Real Estate.
Brett had been in Selling Sunset since the first series but his brother Jason was the one seen making all of the big decisions on the show.
This could have been a reason why Brett wanted to have his own company where he could be the only one in charge.
