THE Mandalorian season two is getting really juicy with fans thinking they've cracked Moff Gideon's evil plan.
The sci-fi western's resident baddie made a return to the Disney+ series in the episode titled The Seige.
The 12th chapter in The Mandalorian tale was a critical episode in the narrative arc of the Star Wars spin-off.
In the episode Din Djarin aka The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda head back to Nevarro for some critical ship repairs.
The duo reunite with Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) and Cara Dune (Gina Carano) who ask Mando to help them blow up an old Imperial base.
Things go awry when they get into the base and learn that it was actually a laboratory where test subjects were injected with Baby Yoda’s blood.
The show saved the big reveal that Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) was still alive until the very end of the episode
His brief appearance also answered why he and Dr. Pershing, Werner Herzog's The Client, wanted to acquire Baby Yoda – they hoped The Child's midi-chlorian rich blood would power a new force of Dark Troopers.
Show creator Jon Favreau is reviving the Dark Troopers which are part of Star Wars' expanded universe canon.
But some Reddit users have had an even scarier idea of why they need The Child's blood.
In a blink or you'll miss it moment, fans saw some kind of being floating in a bacta tank.
The keen eyed viewers speculated the floating body may be that of the evil Snoke, who was believed to have been created in a cloning experiment by Palpatine.
"I'd wager that these are the early experiments that led to Snoke," Redditor u/Cone1000 hypothesised about the floating blob.
"Just trying to work out how to get the midichlorians to work with cloning. The thing in the vat reminds me of the Snoke jar in IX."
The Mandalorian's latest episode has been a hit with fans as it not only reunited Mando with Cara and Greef, but featured an adorable scene of Baby Yoda using The Force.
After Mando parked Baby Yoda at a school while he set off with Cara and Greef, the ever hungry being spots a packet of what look like space macarons on the nearby desk of a fellow pupil.
Baby Yoda motions to his classmate to share his tasty snacks, but the boy sternly tells him "no".
A disappointed Baby Yoda will not be swayed as he realises he has some special tricks up his sleeve.
In what marks the first time in the second season that we've seen him use it, Baby Yoda summons the force to bring the packet over to him.
The boy looks over in shock as he realises his snacks have been nabbed.
Cut to a very satisfied Baby Yoda tucking into the sweet treats.
