Katie Thurston has had one heck of a ride. She quickly gained attention on Matt James’ “Bachelor” season when she greeted him wielding a rather (ahem) personal item. Jokes aside, Katie quickly became a fan-favorite for her outspoken defense of others and the frank, candid way she was able to communicate with her peers. While she may have never stood a chance on “The Bachelor,” Katie is taking the reins as the next Bachelorette, followed by Michelle Young. So we get not one, but two seasons of “The Bachelorette” with these amazing women.
There are already some notable things coming out about Katie’s season. For starters, one of the contestants is going to be a familiar face. We’re getting Blake Moynes back, who wooed both Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams to no avail. Third time’s a charm, Blake! As if that’s not exciting enough, we also found out that Katie’s season ended early. As Us Weekly reported, Katie wrapped up her season a week ahead of schedule.
“Katie was in control and made sure the men she wanted were there and the men she wasn’t interested in, she sent packing,” a source told the outlet. How are we not surprised? And while there’s so much to talk about when it comes to Katie, we’re dying to know more about the men on her season, especially Garrett Schwartz. Here’s his story.
Katie's suitor Garrett Schwartz is already a huge hit with fans
One of Katie Thurston’s lucky contenders is Garrett Schwartz. Reality Steve dropped some information about him on Twitter on March 18, 2021. Fans were clearly impressed. One fan optimistically predicted, “I see him making it far.” Another said, “Damn I’ll take him.” So it looks like Garrett is a hit from the start!
According to his LinkedIn profile, Garrett is a project marketing manager for Adobe. Lord knows Katie will be in good hands when she needs to sort out those PDF files! He is currently in the San Francisco Bay area. Garrett graduated from Sonoma State University in 2015 and has a background in sales. In fact, he spoke about this in an interview with Authority Magazine in July 2020, where he stressed that “personality is a big part of sales.” While Garrett is clearly successful, he also knows how to take time to have fun. He added in the interview that he loves to backpack, snowboard, go mountain biking, or even just have a picnic.
Will Katie pick him? He sounds like a great choice. Only time will tell.
