Rapper Cal Wayne calls George Floyd a ‘big brother’ who he ‘idolized’

Rapper Cal Wayne has revealed George Floyd was like a “big brother” growing up in Texas — saying “f–k the law” in reference to the way Floyd died while begging for his life.

“This wasn’t my friend this was my big brother. My true O.G. Big Floyd 💯👑,” the Houston rapper wrote in a series of social media tributes.

“Any song I made you hear who taught me ‘George Big Floyd,’” he said, speaking of his 46-year-old pal, “I idolized you.”

Wayne said his mentor was well known in Houston — where he was also “twins” with former Nets star Stephen Jackson — before he made the move to Minnesota where he died during a caught-on-camera arrest.

“F–k the law. Y’all made my brother beg and the whole world saw him tell y’all ‘yall killing me’! Dam!” the rapper wrote.

“To hear my big brother scream and beg. Dam!” he added in a follow-up post.
