UK coronavirus deaths pass 21,000 with 360 – the lowest daily death toll in four weeks – The Sun

CORONAVIRUS deaths in the UK have passed 21,000 after another 360 lost their lives in the lowest daily death toll in four weeks.

Positive cases have also risen by 4,310 to 157,149 as Britain enters its sixth week of drastic lockdown measures.

The government tonight confirmed there have been 21,092 deaths in total in the UK after 360 more died.

This is the lowest daily increase in deaths in four weeks after 180 people lost their lives on March 30.

But there is usually a lag in reporting the figures over the weekend so the number is likely to rise this week.

The government also carried out 37,024 tests for the disease as they work towards a pledge of 100,000 a day.
